Sino-South Korea New Year’s Concert to be held in Changchun tonight for celebrating the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties

CHANGCHUN, January 9 (Jilin Daily) --- In order to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the establishment of Sino-South Korea diplomatic ties, hosted by Jilin Province Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchanges Center and Sino-South Korea Culture and Art Exchanges Association, and organized by Jilin Province Performance Company and Conservatory of Music of Northeast Normal University, Sino-South Korea Vocalists New Year’s Concert is going to be held at Jilin Province Oriental Grand Theater on the evening of January 9.
Mr. Park Kichen, a Korean top-level tenor, Mr. Seok Sanggen having winning 15 international vocal music awards, Mrs. Im Cheongha, a soprano titled the empress of Korean Songs and Mrs. Jeong Beongwha, a soprano and an excellent Korean opera songstress all will give their wonderful performance. Meanwhile, Mrs. Chen Yang, Dean of School of Music of Northeast Normal University and a soprano, Mr. Gao Yutao, Associate Professor of School of Music of Northeast Normal University and a tenor, Mr. Jin Yong, Associate Professor of School of Music of Northeast Normal University and a tenor and other Chinese artists will perform songs rich with Chinese characteristics. The artists from both countries will share the same stage on after another, and their brilliant performance will send New Year’s wishes to the audience.
The host of this performance will not only set the admission ticket at a preferential price of 50 CNY, but also specially hold an elegant performance of chamber quartet at theater hall and an exhibition on selected small-sized oil painting --- “Our Generation”, offering rich and diversified cultural activities to audience.
