Mayor Cui Jie met with Mr. Sung-woong Park, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea Consulate in Shenyang at Changchun Hotel on Feb.10.

Mr. Sung-woong Park was designated as Consul General of the Republic of Korea Consulate in Shenyang in May 2007, and will leave for home this year.

He has established friendly and cooperative relations with Changchun city during his tenure.

During the meeting, Mayor Cui Jie has expressed gratitude towards Mr. Sung-woong Park for his support to Changchun city. 

The past two years saw close economic, trade and cultural exchanges between Changchun and Korea. 

Hana Bank in Changchun is the first foreign-funded banks, depicting close relationship with Changchun and Korea and Mr. Cui showed his gratefulness to Mr. Sung-woong Park’s promotion. 

Mr. Cui hopes that Mr. Sung-woong Park continues to pay attention to the future of Changchun and promote the economic exchanges between South Korea and Changchun. 

He assured Mr. Sung-woong Park that the people of Changchun will always welcome his visit.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sung-woong Park expressed his gratitude towards the people of Changchun for their assistance and cooperation with the people of South Korea.
