Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade, Manturov, said that Russia's high-purity neon production will reach 10% of the global output by the end of this year, and 25% by 2023. Manturov admitted that neon gas values so much for global microelectronics factories that make tiny chips. At present, the neon-helium mixture produced in Russia accounts for more than 30% of the global yield. Bauman Moscow State Technical University plans to produce about 70,000m3 of neon this year, accounting for 10% of the global market, and 180,000m3 next year, enough to meet nearly a quarter of the global demands. Russia is willing to conduct dialogues with foreign friends to discuss the supply of pure gas made from Russian raw materials and to provide raw material purification services for other countries under mutually beneficial conditions.
