Proposal for Future Key Cooperation Directions
Minsk has a traditional advantage in agricultural machinery manufacturing. In accelerating the agricultural modernization in Changchun, the two cities have potential for cooperation in agricultural machinery. The two cities are both "cities of colleges and universities", and they have considerable strength in scientific research and talent reserve. They can carry out more exchanges in personnel training and industry-university-academy cooperation. Located in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, the “China-Belarus Industrial Park” is the first cooperative park established by the two countries under the support of presidents from both countries in response to the “Belt and Road” Initiative. Changchun China-Belarus Science and Technology Park is a key science and technology park personally unveiled by President Lukashenko. It is an important three-in-one international cooperation platform for science and technology service, science and technology industry，and science and technology finance in Changchun. In May 2017, the two parks signed a strategic cooperation agreement in order to continue promoting cooperation between the two parks. It is also the focus of future cooperation between the two cities.
