On August 1, Ou Shuo, Deputy Director of the Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with Mr. L.T. Zhao, member of the Windsor International Relations Committee, and his delegation of three.
Ou Shuo first welcomed Mr. L.T. Zhao and his delegation and thanked them for their strong support for exchanges and cooperation between Changchun and Windsor in various fields. He briefly introduced Changchun's economic and social development and extended a warm invitation to relevant enterprises and people from Windsor to invest and cooperate in Changchun. He also looked forward to strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the two cities in electric vehicles and batteries, education, culture, sculpture, tourism, business visits, and other fields.
Mr. L.T. Zhao expressed his heartfelt thanks for the thoughtful arrangement offered by the office and agreed with Ou Shuo's suggestions to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the two sides. He emphasized that Windsor is open to multi-field cooperation with Changchun. He hoped to explore cooperation potential in electric vehicles and batteries during this visit and reinforce the sister-city relationship by fostering student exchanges, encouraging business visits, and promoting tourism. Additionally, he brought a personal letter from Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens to Mayor Wang Zilian, conveying greetings from the people of Windsor to the people of Changchun.
