During the Changchun Sendai Video Work Meeting convened on July 6 by the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, the amicable exchange plan of two cities in 2022 was discussed. In order to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, and to enhance mutual understanding and friendship among teenagers in the two cities, the two sides reached an agreement on developing exchanges in the fields of adolescent education, culture and art. In addition, the two sides expressed that although the two cities cannot visit each other due to the impact of COVID-19, they can still keep close contact with the help of video meeting, and looked forward to resuming personal exchanges and combining online and offline ways to carry out exchanges and cooperation in more fields.
