Announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Use of the 2023 Version of Electronic Service Passport and Electronic Passport for Public Affairs of the People's Republic of China

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China will launch the 2023 version of Electronic Service Passport and Electronic Passport for Public Affairs of the People's Republic of China as of July 1, 2023.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China has provided samples and introductions of the 2023 version of Electronic Service Passport and Electronic Passport for Public Affairs of the People's Republic of China to relevant departments of governments worldwide through diplomatic channels.

The 2023 version of Electronic Service Passport and Electronic Passport for Public Affairs of the People's Republic of China shall be valid for travel to countries and regions around the world. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China kindly requests military and political authorities of all countries to facilitate the passage and provide necessary assistance to passport holders.
