On September 15, Zhao Haiying, Director of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with a delegation from the Flushing Chinese Business Association (FCBA) of the United States. The two sides held talks focusing on Changchun's distinctive industries and the delegation's interest in exchanges across multiple fields.

During the meeting, Zhao gave a detailed overview of the development of the Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area, highlighting the city's competitive industries, including biomedicine, automotive manufacturing, and ice and snow tourism. She put forward proposals for leveraging the FCBA's platform and resources to promote cooperation with the US side in traditional Chinese medicine, cultural tourism, arts, and other fields. She also invited members of the delegation to attend the opening ceremony of the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade, expressing the hope that both sides would take the event as a new opportunity to deepen practical cooperation and achieve win-win outcomes.

The delegation later visited Changchun University of Chinese Medicine and its 3rd Affiliated Hospital, the China FAW Museum, the Xinmin Street Historical and Cultural Block, Changchun World Sculpture Park, and the Qingyifang Yunlang Contemporary Art Museum, among other sites.
