Recently, the Changchun Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Jilin Province completed customs clearance for its first batch of imported non-ferrous metals (copper and tin) via road freight. The clearance has not only enriched the variety of cross-border goods handled by the zone, but also injected fresh momentum into the industrial and supply chains of non-ferrous metals.

This batch of non-ferrous metals totaled 460 metric tons. Jilin Wangtong Economic Trade Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Changchun Economic Development Xinglong Investment Group Co., Ltd., provided buyers with full-chain financial support.

By leveraging the combined policies of "Bonded Storage" and "Consolidated Import, Split Exit" in the zone, enterprises can defer duty payments until the goods are sold, rather than paying taxes upon entry. This flexible arrangement helps ease the pressure that large tax payments place on their working capital.

This move not only demonstrates the practical efforts of state-owned enterprises directly under the zone to support the real economy, but also highlights the progress made by the zone in improving its business environment as a port.

Going forward, Changchun Economic Development Xinglong Investment Group Co., Ltd. will continue to expand and strengthen bonded warehousing services for non-ferrous metals and other bulk commodities in the Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone. It will also strive to develop the zone into a competitive hub of supply chain services in northeast China.
