On the morning of March 6, the opening ceremony of the China-Austria Artists' Exhibition, co-organized by the Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO), was successfully held. Deputy Director of the CCFAO, Ou Shuo, attended the event upon invitation.

Under the theme "Shining Together at the Peak, Meeting in Jilin," this exhibition marks the first joint presentation of works by Chinese and Austrian artists in Northeast China. Running for 15 days, it features over 50 exquisite pieces from artists of both nations.
The Austrian Embassy in China sent a congratulatory letter, describing the exhibition as a profound cultural dialogue that bridges European rigorous realism with Chinese aesthetic concepts, and extending best wishes for its success.
At the ceremony, addresses were delivered by Zhang Donghang, Vice President of the Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Li Tingxian, Deputy Director of the Jilin Provincial Academy of Painting and Calligraphy; and Ingrid, a representative of the Austrian artists. In his speech, Vice President Zhang Donghang affirmed the exhibition's role in fostering exchange and expressed gratitude to the organizing bodies, including the CCFAO, for their strong support. Among the attendees were Xiu Lizheng, Second-level Inspector of the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, as well as representatives of Chinese and Austrian artists, and foreign experts residing in Changchun along with their families.

During the event, Deputy Director Ou Shuo engaged in cordial conversations with Ingrid and Jörg, Production Director of FAW-Volkswagen's No. 2 Plant. He noted that the exhibition provides an exceptional platform for artistic display and cross-cultural dialogue, and welcomed more Austrian friends to take this opportunity to explore and connect with Changchun.
