Three Cities in Our Province Rank Among Top 10 Ski Tourism Destinations
On February 7, the "Key Laboratory of Ice and Snow Tourism Venue Equipment and Intelligent Service Technology" under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism officially released the China Ski Resort Recommendation List, also known as the Top 10 Ski Tourism Cities Recommendation List. Three cities from our province—Changchun, Tonghua, and Jilin—were included in the list.
Changchun City

Changchun promotes itself under the slogan “Learn to ski in Changchun.” Within just 5 kilometers of the city center, skiers can access three ski resorts: Jingyuetan, Sijixue, and Arbitrarily River. Within 10 kilometers, four resorts—including Tiandingshan—are available. Extending to a 38‑kilometer radius, the area clusters seven ski resorts such as Lianhuashan, Miaoxiangshan, and Guoxin Nanshan, forming a remarkably dense urban ski circuit that is rare across the country.
Tonghua City

Known as the “Cradle of New China’s Skiing” and the “Hometown of Skiing in China,” Tonghua highlights its identity as the “Birthplace of Skiing, Now with High‑Speed Rail Access.” Within 5 kilometers of downtown, visitors can reach the Shanglongtou Ski Resort. Within 10 kilometers, three resorts—including Wanfeng and Qianye Lake—are accessible. All five ski resorts in the area lie within a 40‑kilometer radius, reflecting a highly concentrated skiing destination.
Jilin City

Jilin City is celebrated as the “City of Rime · Skiing Paradise.” Within 5 kilometers of the urban area, two ski resorts—Beishan and Paotaishan—offer convenient access. Within 10 kilometers, three resorts including Jixue make it possible to “step out and ski.” The gentle slopes at Beishan and Paotaishan are ideal for beginners, while the more premium resorts such as Songhuahu and Beidahu, though located farther out, create a tiered product system together with the suburban venues.
Celebrate the Lunar New Year in Jilin and welcome spring on the slopes. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable ice and snow adventure this New Year.
