Zhang Enhui and Gu Gang Meet with Delegation of the French Confederation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
On January 29, Zhang Enhui, Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, and Gu Gang, Mayor of Changchun, met with a delegation of the French Confederation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (CPME) led by its Vice President Jean-Lou Blachier. Emmanuel Loriot, Consul General of France in Shenyang, also attended the meeting.

On behalf of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee and the Changchun Municipal People's Government, Zhang Enhui and Gu Gang extended a warm welcome to the French delegation. After briefly outlining the city's development, Zhang noted that Changchun, guided by the important spirits and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China as well as on the work in Jilin, is vigorously advancing the development of the Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area, and propelling high-quality economic and social development. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Changchun will remain firmly committed to expanding high-level opening-up. He expressed the hope that the two sides would establish a regular mechanism for exchanges, introduce more high-quality enterprises to invest and operate in Changchun, and deepen pragmatic cooperation, particularly in such areas as the ice-and-snow economy, culture and tourism, automobiles, and high-end equipment manufacturing. Zhang also invited the French guests to attend the 33rd Winter Universiade in Changchun.
Jean-Lou Blachier remarked that Changchun enjoys a prominent geographical advantage and is a city brimming with vitality, and that the CPME will fully leverage its role as a bridge to connect Changchun with more high-quality resources for win-win cooperation.
