On behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, Zhang Enhui and Gu Gang warmly welcomed all the guests and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce for its guidance and support in organizing this conference. Zhang Enhui mentioned that currently, Changchun is earnestly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In particular, expanding high-level opening-up has been identified as a top priority for driving high-quality development and achieving sustainable revitalization. The automotive industry serves as a shining example of China-Germany economic and trade cooperation. It is hoped that this conference will mark a fresh starting point, enabling Changchun to further deepen cooperation with relevant enterprises and industry organizations. By aligning with the development trends of the "Four Modernizations" (electrification, connectivity, intelligence, and sharing) in the automotive sector, we can deepen cooperation in technology, industry, and cultural exchanges, thus opening up a new chapter of win-win cooperation.

Guests such as Hans-Peter Friedrich, Chairman of the Eastern Germany Economic International Cooperation Committee, remarked that Changchun is a city brimming with creative vitality and immense development potential. They pledged to leverage their own strengths to act as a bridge, facilitating more in-depth cooperation between German-funded enterprises and Changchun across various fields. Together, they aim to elevate China-Germany automotive industry cooperation to even greater heights.
