Changchun to Add Three New Direct Flights Starting October 26
According to the seasonal flight schedule of China's civil aviation system, the new winter-spring schedule will take effect on October 26. In the 2025 winter-spring season, China Southern Airlines (CSN) plans to operate 43 aircraft in Jilin, with 35 routes connecting 31 cities and over 17,000 flights. In the new season, in response to the aviation demands in Jilin, CSN will continuously optimize both domestic and international core hub route networks. By increasing flight frequency and enhancing connectivity, it aims to fully meet passengers' diverse and high-quality travel needs.
Leveraging Jilin Province's abundant ice and snow tourism resources, CSN will launch a new direct flight service between Changbaishan and Guangzhou, with one round-trip flight each day. This marks the first-ever direct air link between the two destinations, enabling passengers to enjoy seamless travel between the snowy northern region and the southern "Flower City" with no need to transfer. The new service will significantly shorten travel time and greatly enhance travel convenience.
On the domestic front, CSN will introduce a new direct route from Changchun to Zhuhai, operating twice daily to strengthen the "air bridge" between Jilin and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The new schedule will also witness direct flight routes from Changchun to Sanya and Changchun to Haikou, each with four daily flights, enabling passengers to travel effortlessly between the snowy north and the sunny south while meeting leisure and business travel needs in a single trip. Furthermore, CSN is enhancing its high-frequency business routes. An additional daily round-trip will be added to the Changchun-Shanghai (Pudong) route, increasing the total to six flights per day and offering passengers greater flexibility. The Changchun-Beijing (Daxing) route will maintain its high-quality service with five daily flights. The well-planned schedule facilitates efficient same-day round trips, allowing business travelers to manage their itineraries with ease.
On the international front, CSN will continue to operate direct flights on routes such as Changchun-Tokyo, Changchun-Seoul, and Yanji-Seoul. The flexible schedules provide travelers with more options for their cross-border journeys. These routes will facilitate easy access to fascinating destinations in Northeast Asia and continue to support Jilin's opening up, international exchanges and cooperation.
