2025 Changchun University German Speech Contest Concludes Successfully
On October 22, the 2025 Changchun University German Speech Contest was grandly held at the Zhongguancun Innovation Center in the Changchun High-Tech Zone. Centering on the theme "German Language and Love," the contest aimed to serve as a linguistic bridge and create a cross-cultural platform for university students to explore and convey the multifaceted connotations of "love." It attracted six outstanding teams from various universities in Changchun to compete and showcase their talents.

The event was attended by representatives from the Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, the Changchun German International School, and the Changchun Zhongguancun Innovation Center. Also present were experts, scholars in German language education, and seasoned industry professionals. Together, they witnessed this intellectual feast that blended linguistic artistry with emotional depth.
Throughout the contest, each team closely adhered to the theme, sharing moving stories from personal experiences and expressing profound affection for their hometowns, alma maters, teachers, and the country. The participants demonstrated both solid German language skills and genuine emotional resonance. Among them, the "Yeah Right Team" from Changchun Normal University stood out with their outstanding speech titled "The Motherland in My Eyes," ultimately claiming the championship.

The successful hosting of this German speech contest not only highlighted the fruitful achievements of German language education in Changchun's universities but also deepened the younger generation's understanding of the value of language and the humanistic spirit through its blend of heartfelt sentiment and intellectual exploration. Looking ahead, this event is poised to play its role as a dynamic platform, injecting sustained youthful vitality into the promotion of cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and German-speaking countries.
