National Emergency Medical Rescue Base (Jilin) Mobile Hospital Officially Delivered
The Mobile Hospital, a core component of the Multi-Modal Transfer Center at the National Emergency Medical Rescue Base (Jilin), has been officially delivered and is now in operation. It comprises 15 emergency vehicles across 14 categories (communication command, mobile CT, surgery, ICU, life support, etc.) and 43 ward tents, with functional zones for outpatient reception, surgical treatment, and VIP care. The facility provides 200 beds and handles 800-1,000 patient visits daily.

In June 2023, the project’s preliminary design and budget were approved by the National Health Commission. The base includes nine key centers: Emergency Command, Mass Casualty Treatment, Multi-Modal Transfer, and centers for sudden poisoning incidents, material storage, etc. Once operational, the Mobile Hospital will conduct emergency command, rapid cross-regional deployment, multi-modal transport (land, water, air), mass casualty treatment, and emergency response for poisoning, extreme cold injuries, and forest fire burns. It serves as a critical emergency medical response unit for Northeast China, addressing major disasters, poisoning and public safety incidents.
