Recently, the Digital Intelligent Ice and Snow Equipment (Beihu) Sci-Tech Innovation Demonstration Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Demonstration Center") was officially established in the AI+ Building (6#) of the HEAD Digital Industry Base within Changxin Innovation Valley. This marks a crucial step forward for Changchun New Area in integrating the digitalization and industrialization of ice and snow equipment.

The Demonstration Center is jointly established by the Jilin Provincial Key Laboratory of Ice and Snow Sports, the HEAD Digital Industry Base, and Jilin Lieqi Technology Co., Ltd. Leveraging the innovative platform advantages of the Beihu Future Science City Digital Industry Base, the Center integrates resources from multiple ice and snow technology and equipment manufacturing enterprises across the province. It is committed to facilitating the efficient commercialization of R&D achievement and their practical, scenario-based deployment, aiming to create a comprehensive innovation hub for the ice and snow industry that integrates R&D, manufacturing, sales, and talent cultivation.

The Demonstration Center is dedicated to becoming a sci-tech innovation hub for the industrialization of Jilin's branded ice and snow equipment and the digitalization of ice and snow sports. Its key components include a big data center for ice and snow sports, an equipment manufacturing platform, a sales network for ice and snow gear, and a talent training base for winter sports, alongside other innovation-driven enterprises and digital R&D platforms. It will operate under a model that  "integrates retail front-ends with manufacturing back-ends" model, which not only highlights and sells local brands of ice and snow equipment, such as the FCPS series racing ski boots, 3D-printed anti-collision ski helmets, customized insoles, smart ski boots, and other ski apparel, but also enhances market efficiency by front-end product displays with back-end R&D and manufacturing.

Notably, the Demonstration Center makes full use of the research strengths of the Jilin Provincial Key Laboratory of Ice and Snow Sports to develop a "Champion Training Model" and a "Big Data Center" for Ice and Snow Sports, using technology to conduct cutting-edge research on this front. Furthermore, the Center will showcase the history and culture of the Winter Olympic Games to integrate the promotion of ice and snow culture with its industrial value. This will contribute to a complete industrial chain encompassing "digital research, equipment manufacturing, cultural empowerment, and market-oriented sales".

In the future, the Demonstration Center will continue to strengthen technological breakthroughs and industrial collaboration and support the development of ice and snow equipment in Changchun New Area, contributing to the high-quality growth of Jilin's ice and snow industry.
