On September 21, Zhang Enhui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, met with Chris, Global Vice President and Global Head of its OEM Division, and his delegation.

Zhang Enhui extended a warm welcome to the delegation and expressed appreciation for Henkel's continuous investment in Changchun and expanded cooperation. He noted that Changchun is thoroughly implementing General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on the work of Jilin Province. Led by scientific and technological innovation, the city is accelerating the establishment of a modern industrial system and promoting a green and low-carbon transformation of its development model. He hoped that both sides would further deepen cooperation in the fields of automobiles and intelligent manufacturing, consumer goods, and ginseng and Chinese herbal medicines, jointly advancing green and high-quality development. Changchun will continue to expand high-level opening-up and provide a fair, transparent, and foreseeable environment for all market players, including foreign-funded enterprises, so that they can all share the opportunities brought by revitalization.

Chris expressed gratitude for the strong support and assistance that Changchun has long provided, and said that Henkel would intensify efforts to deepen practical cooperation, continuously explore new areas of collaboration, and work hand in hand with Changchun to create a new chapter of development.
