On September 6, Zhang Enhui, Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, and Mayor Gu Gang met with Liu Qiangdong, Founder and Chairman of JD.com's Board, and his delegation in Changchun. They jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement between the Changchun Municipal People's Government and Beijing Jingdong Century Trading Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, Zhang Enhui provided a brief overview of Changchun's economic and social development, stating that the visit of JD.com's senior team underscored the company's strong commitment to deeply integrating into the revitalization of Northeast China, as well as its firm resolve in strengthening practical cooperation. Changchun extended its wholehearted welcome. Currently, the entire city is earnestly studying and implementing the important instructions delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping when listening to the work reports of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and the Provincial Government, and is carrying out the decisions made by the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and the Provincial Government. Efforts are being made to achieve a virtuous cycle of high-quality development, high-quality living, and high-level security, with particular emphasis on advancing the construction of the Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area. Zhang Enhui encouraged JD.com to seize opportunities, leverage its strengths, and expand its presence in Jilin. He hoped that, by utilizing Changchun's geographical advantages, industrial strengths, talent resources, and preferential national policies, the company could strengthen cooperation in areas such as e-commerce, modern logistics, intelligent manufacturing, and new consumption, so as to achieve mutual benefits while supporting the construction of the Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area.

Liu Qiangdong expressed gratitude for Changchun's long-standing support for JD.com and outlined the company's growth trajectory. He said that the company would implement the cooperation framework agreement, explore innovative cooperation models, increase investment, and accelerate the deployment of new business sectors. The company aims to help more local brands and premium products access wider markets, thereby making greater contributions to the city's high-quality development and all-round revitalization.

Afterwards, the two sides witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the Changchun Municipal People's Government and Beijing Jingdong Century Trading Co., Ltd.
