Changchun Welcomes Its First Zero-Tariff Multi-brand Store!
According to Ye Dongwei, General Manager of Jilin Jigou Technology Co., Ltd., "Since our cooperation with the Economic and Technological Development Zone began in 2024, we have repeatedly communicated with multiple departments, such as the Changchun Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Changchun Customs. Our Shenzhen team made several trips to Changchun, and relevant authorities conducted researches in various regions, ultimately shaping the new retail model for cross-border e-commerce." This model has been approved by Changchun Customs, and the store at the Ouya Wanhao Shopping Center has attracted many customers during its trial operation.
The store features over 2,000 products from leading international brands, including Estée Lauder, Lancôme, and Australia's SWISSE, spanning beauty, healthcare, and other categories. Leveraging the bonded warehousing advantages of the Xinglong Comprehensive Bonded Zone, products can be picked up from the bonded warehouse in as little as 30 minutes, while online orders enjoy SF Express's fast delivery service. In partnership with China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC) for full supply chain traceability, every product carries an anti-counterfeit label and is supervised by Customs throughout the process, ensuring "more competitive prices than some other platforms, with full traceability of product quality".
According to Tang Tang, Store Manager of UYUY Zero-Tariff Cross-Border Multi-brand Store, "Even employees from the shopping center are coming in to shop. The biggest concern of consumers is authenticity, which is guaranteed through Customs supervision and CCIC traceability, while our price advantage also earns customer recognition." On the scene, the reporter observed store staff using the China Customs app to assist customers in verifying product information, offering shoppers extra confidence.
The launch of the cross-border multi-brand store responds to Jilin Province's Measures on Further Promoting High-Level Opening-Up and Development. Through this new model, more high-quality international products will continue to be introduced, stimulating the local consumer market while contributing to the establishment of a new provincial cross-border e-commerce system and injecting fresh momentum into regional foreign trade development.
