"Experience Jilin, Enjoy Jingyuetan" Cultural Exchange Day for International Friends Held at Jingyuetan National Forest Park
On June 22, the "Experience Jilin, Enjoy Jingyuetan" Cultural Exchange Day for International Friends was held at Jingyuetan National Forest Park. The event was hosted by the Jilin Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and co-organized by the Changchun Municipal People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Around 80 international guests participated in the event. Through photography and writing, they captured the beauty of Changchun, showcasing the city's achievements in ecological civilization construction and its unique cultural charm to the international community.
The event featured four immersive activities: an ecological exploration that allowed participants to appreciate the grandeur of the immense man-made forest; a Hanfu experience that provided a platform for interaction with traditional Chinese culture; a photography session to capture the fleeting light-and-shadow moments of Jingyuetan; and a writing contest that encouraged young people to tell Jilin's stories from diverse perspectives. These immersive cultural activities enabled international friends to appreciate both the magnificent natural scenery of Jilin and the profound heritage of Chinese culture.
The Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office actively facilitated park entry and venue arrangements for the event. It specially invited approximately 50 international guests, including families of foreign teachers and students from Changchun's universities, middle schools, and primary schools, as well as representatives from German-invested companies. Yang Xiaoping, Deputy Director of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, attended the event, accompanied by officials from the Divisions of American and Oceanian Affairs and German Affairs.
