Aims and Purposes
Aims:The Symposium aims to promote the nation’s traditional culture,increase the exchange of Chinese and foreign art,improve the city’s cultural connotation,and enrich the masses’ cultural entertainment.
Purposes:Adhering to the high-quality awareness concept, the Symposium emphasizes uniqueness and embraces both Chinese and foreign elements. We are committed to creating an environment with high aesthetic value, high economic performance, rich cultural connotation, and high-quality welfare for the people. We continuously enrich the collection of domestic and international distinctive works, expand the content of ceramic art culture, and strive to build a strong brand effect.

Requirements
1.Qualifications:①Any artist from all countries or regions with particular experience and achievements in ceramics is eligible to join.②Please sign up for the Symposium and complete the registration form online. Then, please send high-definition photographs of your works (in JPG format with a resolution higher than 300 DPI), your resume and achievements, the introduction of your works, and photographs of your previous works (labeled with specifications, materials, and descriptions) to the organizing committee (email: CCCICG@vip.163.com).③The organizing committee will organize experts to review and screen, announce the results before May 30, 2025, and issue official invitation letters to the shortlisted artists.  ④The Symposium is planned to shortlist thirty artists to participate in the Symposium (three works per person).2.Artworks for the Symposium:①The artwork must be independently created by the artist, fully expressing the theme of the Symposium, and should have independent intellectual property rights.②The artwork should primarily focus on ceramic sculpture, with a height of no less than 70cm. It should have a certain depth of thought and cultural reflection and have innovation, uniqueness, and aesthetic value.③The artwork should have a clear concept, demonstrate innovation, and feature unique and perfect artistic expression. The materials and craftsmanship should be well-considered and complete, with ceramic content making up more than 50%.④Standards for completed works: fully sculpted, stable quality, with intact glaze colors and complete components.⑤Each shortlisted artist should finish three pieces of work (at least two of which can be brought in advance, with the remaining works to be created on-site).
 
Financial Support
1.The organizing committee will bear the artists’ international or domestic round-trip transportation (from your residence to Changchun) costs. 2.The organizing committee will bear the artists’ catering and accommodation during their stay in Changchun.3.The organizing committee will bear the expenses of tickets, transportation, meals, and other costs for visits and other activities arranged by the organizing committee.4.The organizing committee will provide artists with personal accident and medical insurance during their stay in Changchun.5.If the artwork is created under the requirements of the organizing committee, the organizing committee will provide artists with a subsidy of 7,000 yuan (RMB) after tax when the artists complete their creation.6.If the weight of artworks taken with artists to Changchun exceeds what the airline stipulated, the organizing committee will bear the additional cost for the works.
