The 23rd Vasaloppet China Changchun Jingyuetan International Ski Festival will be held at the Jingyuetan National Scenic Area on January 4, 2025. As the event approaches, all preparations are in full swing.

Net timing will be utilized for the Jingyuetan Vasaloppet International Ski Festival, which will be implemented through a chip system. The organizing committee will use chips of the same specifications and grades as those of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and the timing team will be the one that served the Beijing Winter Olympics. In addition, athletes' number bibs and vests are all designed and made in accordance with special specifications and standards for cross-country skiing, with different colors, chips and number bibs for athletes in different categories. The day before the official competition, the Competition Office will distribute supplies, race manuals, etc. to the athletes.

Ning Jun, Deputy General Manager of Changchun Nordic Ways Holdings Limited, highlighted the design of the medals for this year's event, explaining, "The medal features a snowflake-shaped component in the middle part that can rotate and be detached separately. The number '23' on the snowflake represents the 23rd edition. All participants who successfully complete the race will be awarded this medal." Ning Jun further stated that in order to establish a lasting brand effect for the Jingyuetan Vasaloppet International Ski Festival, and make it gradually enjoy popular support, the future events will continue to adopt this medal design.
This year's Jingyuetan Vasaloppet International Ski Festival has set up five competition categories of 50 km, 25 km, 6 km, 1.5 km and 0.3 km, to cater to the needs of skiing enthusiasts at different levels. Currently, there are a total of 1,668 applicants, including 1,490 domestic participants and 178 athletes from 31 different countries worldwide.
