On May 21, Zhang Enhui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, met with Wang Pijun, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Secretary General of WRSA (Overseas-educated Scholars Association of China) who visited Changchun to attend the "Symposium on Leveraging Overseas Talents for the Comprehensive Revitalization of Northeast China in the New Era".

Both sides had in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation in fields such as scientific and technological innovation, industrial investment, talent introduction, and opening-up by fully implementing the spirit of the CPC 20th National Congress and the important speeches and instructions made by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Jilin Province. They also discussed matters related to jointly establishing the Northeast China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of WRSA.

Representatives from member companies of WRSA, relevant comrades from the United Front Work Department of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee, and leaders of Changchun including Sun Hong, Jiang Baozhong, and Hua Jingbin attended the meeting.
