On May 19, Duan Huaxu, Deputy Director of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office held a work meeting with the delegation led by Huang Jianhui, General Manager of the Changchun Branch of Sumitomo Corporation (Shanghai) Ltd. The two sides had in-depth discussions on promoting cooperation on projects in multiple fields.

Deputy Director Duan Huaxu introduced to Huang Jianhui, the newly appointed General Manager of the Changchun Branch of Sumitomo Corporation, the situation of Changchun's foreign cooperation, industrial layout, and development direction. Duan Huaxu expressed that Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office has maintained close communication with Sumitomo Corporation for a long time, and the cooperation foundation between both sides is solid with significant achievements. In the future, both sides will further engage in exchanges and docking in key areas such as modern agriculture, export of new energy vehicles, and carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and jointly promote the implementation of project cooperation. General Manager Huang Jianhui expressed gratitude for the long-standing support of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office to Sumitomo Corporation and expressed the willingness to leverage the unique development advantages of Changchun by consolidating the existing cooperation, to seek local partners and development opportunities and promote breakthroughs in cooperation with our city.
