On March 15, Nong’an Yangshulin Township signed a strategic cooperation agreement on cattle industry and rental agreement for cattle farming project for rural revitalization with Jilin Niulian Group.

Jilin Niulian Livestock Group was established in 2020 and is a company specialized in cattle farming and beef products. It operates multiple large-scale ranches across the country with business involving farming of high-quality cattle, smart ranch operation, among others. The group has pioneered the establishment of a digital information platform for smart ranching and promoted standardized farming technology and precision feeding technology for cattle. After several rounds of deep talks and field inspections, Niulian decided to lease Yangshulin cattle farming project for rural revitalization due to its strong branding, solid foundation and sincerity regarding developing the beef industry. They signed a strategic cooperative agreement on the development of the beef industry which will serve as an opportunity to expand their main business throughout Nong'an County. This leased project is located at Chijiatun Village in Yangshulin with a land area of 22,500 m2 and total construction area measuring 3,397 m2 suitable for raising up to 400 head of cattle.

In 2022, around Chang'an County's "million-head" program on developing the domestication of more cows, within one year timeframe, the industry had expanded to have 191 cattle farms and 18,200 head cattle for inventory, so this cooperation will further promote ranching towards large scale, digitization and standardisation, which helps accelerate the industrial upgrades through improved efficiency along with extended chain. The personnel in Yangshulin also said that the Party Committee and People’s Government will support operating businesses and the policies will be implemented.

The relevant person in charge of the Niulian Animal Husbandry Group stated that the development prospects of the cattle farming and processing industry in Nong'an County are extremely broad. They will use the leased projects as a basis to gradually build a complete industry chain integrating farming, production, processing and sales from hundreds to thousands and then tens of thousands head of cattle, with joint efforts from both parties to further strengthen the county's cattle industry.
