With the theme of "Pursue Innovation-driven Development, Build Entrepreneurship Dreams", the 11th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Jilin Division) & 2022 "Changchun New Area Cup" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition semi-final recently came to a successful conclusion in the Changchun Beihu Science Park. The event was hosted by the Jilin Provincial Department of Science and Technology, organized by the Changchun New Area Management Committee and the Changchun Beihu Science Park and co-organized by the Jilin Innovation and Entrepreneurship Technology Service Promotion Association, Jilin Entrepreneurship Incubation Technology Investment Service Co Ltd, Jilin CAS Innovation Incubation Investment Co Ltd, Changchun Comprehensive Financial Service Co Ltd and Jilin Jiurui Culture and Media Co Ltd.

To reduce the risk of imported epidemic cases and effectively implement prevention and control measures, the semi-final competition adopted the method of online participation by enterprises and on-site scoring by judges to ensure no crowds and low flow of personnel throughout the event. 

The semi-final competition was divided into 5 sessions for new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new materials, biomedicine and new energy. Judges conducted a fair, just and open evaluation on 91 participating enterprises according to the comprehensive performance of technology and products, business model and implementation plan, industry and market, team situation and financial analysis. 51 enterprises successfully qualified for the final. 

In the near future, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology will hold a training camp for the finalists with comprehensive services, aiming to guide them to highlight their own advantages, optimize the business plan and clarify the project implementation ideas. As a platform for learning exchanges and in-depth dialogue, the camp will further improve the roadshow level of the finalists and ensure the quality of the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Jilin
