To seize the key opportunities of the development of the hydrogen energy industry, combine the regional characteristics of Jilin province and the new demand for the revitalization and development of Northeast China in the new era, promote the in-depth cooperation among the government, enterprises and research institutes, and boost the high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry in the province, a high-end forum themed on "Seize the Opportunities Brought by Carbon Peak and Neutrality, Build a Complete Hydrogen Energy Industry Chain" was recently held by the Jilin provincial government and Xi'an Jiaotong University in Changchun. 

At the forum, an academician from Xi'an Jiaotong University, head of the Baicheng municipal government and representatives of FAW Jiefang and SPIC Jilin Electric Power made keynote reports on the development and utilization of hydrogen energy and the building of a complete hydrogen energy industry chain. After the forum, participants had in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics of interest.

Jilin province has rich resource endowment, favorable location conditions and good research and development foundation to develop the green hydrogen industry. The provincial Party committee and the provincial government have attached great importance to the development of the hydrogen energy industry, carried out the "Hydrogen Drives Jilin" action, focused on creating an ecosystem for the hydrogen energy industry, and strived to build Jilin into a national demonstration province for the whole green hydrogen industry chain. The provincial government has set up a provincial leading group for hydrogen industry development and planned for an expert committee and a hydrogen industry alliance to formulate a hydrogen industry development plan and relevant supporting policies to help the development of the province's hydrogen energy industry.
