On August 4, Mayor Wang Zilian held a working discussion with a team led by Ouyang Weimin, President of China Development Bank. The two sides agreed to promote the implementation of a series of major cooperation issues around the building of a modern urban circle revolving Changchun, and push Changchun to take a new path of comprehensive revitalization and all-round revitalization.

Changchun has always maintained close cooperation with CDB and obtained a series of major achievements that benefit both the present and the future. With the strong injection of funds from CDB, Changchun successfully completed the construction of a 100-kilometer subway, the "two-horizontal and three-longitudinal" expressway, which has been opened to traffic, completed the comprehensive renovation of the Yitong River with a length of 50 kilometers, and realized a new look for the old communities within the Third Ring Road. Focusing on industrial revitalization, CDB has made full use of its advantages in financing and intelligence to accurately promote the development of Changchun's backbone enterprises. FAW Hongqi New Energy Base and GenSci Pharmaceutical Industrial Park have been completed and put into operation, and Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. has become the only unicorn enterprise in Northeast region.

Wang Zilian thanked CDB for its long-term support to Changchun. He said that at present, Changchun, focusing on the high-quality development strategy of "one pillar and six pairs", accelerates the building of a modern urban circle revolving Changchun and fully implements the "six-city linkage", and by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, Changchun will be built into a super large modern city with a resident population of more than 10 million and an economic total of more than RMB 1 trillion. With the implementation of the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Comprehensive Revitalization of Northeast China Region", the multiple advantages of Changchun, such as location, industry, resources, science & technology and ecology, will be released centrally. He hopes CDB will continue to focus on and support Changchun. Changchun will carry out comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with CDB in some fields, especially in major infrastructure construction, industrial park construction and high-quality development of manufacturing industry, construction of Changchun National Agricultural High-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone, urban renewal, agricultural infrastructure construction and infrastructure fund.

Ouyang Weimin congratulated Changchun on its great progress in economic and social development. He said that in recent years, Changchun has undergone earth-shaking changes, and its volume, appearance and development quality have been significantly improved. CDB is a national policy bank, and will continue to maintain a good cooperative relationship with Changchun, and promote the continuous expansion of government-bank cooperation in depth and breadth. CDB will fully support the construction of major projects in Changchun and help the high-quality development of Changchun with active and accurate services based on the standards of project-oriented, list-oriented and responsibility-oriented.
