The 14th China (Changchun) Folk Art Expo and Exhibition of Industrial Arts of Jilin Province will be held at the Commercial Pedestrian Street, Changjiang Road of Changchun City, from July 29 to August 10, 2021. 

The 13-day event is supported by the People’s Government of Changchun City and Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, sponsored by Jilin Provincial Association of Folk Artists, Jilin Provincial Association of Industrial Arts and Beijing Huaxia Folk Art Expo Co., Ltd., organized by Changchun College of Humanities and Jilin Provincial Association of Intangible Cultural Heritages, and implemented by Jilin Folk Art Expo Service Co., Ltd. In accordance with “building a platform with a collection of achievements in folk arts, a stage showing new folk arts, new products and new technologies, and a gala or exchanges, trading and service of folk art products”, and cultivating and disseminating the spirit of “craftsmanship”, efforts will be made to create a featured international folk art exposition at national level. 

The highlights include folk art elements integrated into time honored business streets, rich activities of diversified features, and people’s wellbeing activities to express the feelings and thoughts of the folk art exposition. Insiders say wonderful artistic performances and exhibitions of industrial arts, jewelries, jades, cultural innovative products, famous local special products, paper cuttings, calligraphy and painting works, root carvings, traditional clothes of Han ethic group and animation products as well as  other activities at the exhibition areas of Jilin Provincial Association of Folk Artists, Industrial Arts of Jilin Province, College Students’ Cultural and Creative Union of Jilin Province, “Fashion Show with Chinese Characteristics in the Times of Peace and Prosperity” of Folk Art Expo of Changchun City, “Win Prize in Folk Art Expo” will also be organized.
