Jilin, Zhejiang Join Hands to Develop Digital Economy, Jilin (Changchun)-Zhejiang Digital Economy Development Summit & Trip 2020 for New Merchants of Digital Economy from Zhejiang to Changchun Opened 

The Jilin (Changchun)-Zhejiang Digital Economy Development Summit & Trip 2020 for New Merchants of Digital Economy from Zhejiang to Changchun was opened at the Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone on October 11, 2020. The experts, scholars and enterprise representatives in the field of digital economy of Jilin and Zhejiang provinces carried out exchanges and cooperation in the forms of trip for new merchants of digital economy from Zhejiang to Changchun, academic research, summit forum and project cooperation in line with the theme of “increasing trend and empowerment”. Zhang Zhijun, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee and Mayor of Changchun City, attended and addressed the summit. 

“To organize this event is meant to implement in a thorough manner the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions. It is also a concrete action taken to deepen the counterpart cooperation between Jilin and Zhejiang, Changchun and Hangzhou. Changchun is now implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions, with the structural reform of supply side taken as the main line, and the digitalization, networking and intellectualization as the guide to secure good scores in the “two articles of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization, and make “two breakthroughs” in making data valuable and digitalization governance, thereby creating a development system for digital economy with the characteristics of Changchun City,” said Zhang Zhijun in his speech, adding, “Zhejiang, as a province for counterpart cooperation with Jilin, and Hangzhou as a city for counterpart cooperation with Changchun, have given strong support to the development of Jilin and Changchun. It is hoped that through this summit the cooperation between the two sides can be further promoted, and joint efforts can be made to carry out cooperation projects, develop cooperation platforms and expand cooperation space so as to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results of higher quality, higher grade and higher level. Changchun will create a sound investment environment and provide with such service that is the best in Northeast China, the first-level on a national scale and internationally competitive for all enterprises.” 

The Academy of Digital Economy of Jilin Province was officially founded during the activity in which the information about the digital industrial park in Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone was also released. The Academy of Digital Economy of Zhejiang Province, Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone, Changchun Municipal Bureau of Government Service and Digital Construction and Academy of Digital Economy of Jilin Province signed a “four party agreement on strategic cooperation”. Changchun Municipal Bureau of Government Service and Digital Construction signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hangzhou Anheng Information Technology Co., Ltd.. Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone signed strategic cooperation agreements with four enterprises. 

Among the officials invited to the summit also included Wang Lu, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, Executive Deputy Mayor and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jingyue Hi-tech Industry Development Zone.
