With China Southern Airlines’ first flight CZ6144 taking off from the runway, the flights from Beijing Daxing International Airport to Changchun Longjia International Airport were officially started at 16:16 on October 27, 2019.  

The service of China Southern Airlines at Daxing Airport is proved convenient and smooth-open the App of China Southern Airlines to get the QR code and scan it for getting board. When boarding, there is no need to change the paper boarding pass. For checking in luggage, a passenger can turn to the self-service equipment or go through other channels to get boarding pass, check in luggage and scan the QR code for boarding. 

It is reported that for this winter-spring season “one-card customs clearance” will be implemented thanks to which paperless check-in service can be made possible, that is, a passenger of China Southern Airlines only need to swipe his or her ID card or passport without the need of paper boarding pass or electronic QR code to pass the inspection. China Southern Airlines has 78 self-service luggage check-in equipment at Daxing Airport. All baggage conveyors are at the same ground height so that all passengers can easily handle their luggage which can also be tracked in the through process of transportation through China Southern Airlines’ App, WeChat and website. 

The reporter also visited the food production base of China Southern Airlines and Beijing Operation Control Center on October 26. The food production base, the largest of its kind in Asia, covers a total area of 92,200 square meters. Its production capacity ranges from 100,000 up to 180,000 a day.
