The entrepreneurial representatives and leaders of federations of industry and commerce of Changchun, Shenyang, Harbin and Dalian were invited to Changchun City to witness the founding of the Union of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) of Northeast China’s three provinces and four cities on September 5, 2019.  

The founding of such union was initiated by Changchun Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) as an effort to implement the new round of national strategy for the revitalization of Northeast China, put in practice the important spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s speech at the Symposium on Promoting the Revitalization of Northeast China, and thus kick-start a new upsurge of cooperation and development of private economy in Northeast China. Once put forward, the proposal was warmly responded by the federations of industry and commerce of Harbin, Shenyang and Dalian. The consensus on the founding of a union was reached after rounds of communications, fermentations and discussions. 

After the union is founded, priority will then be given to promoting sincere cooperation, group development, mutual benefits and win-win results among the members of the union. It serves as a platform for private entrepreneurs to express feelings, exchange needs and integrate resources, facilitate private economy to get improved, transform, upgrade, and improve quality and efficiency, thereby creating a “united fleet” to contribute more to the revitalization and development of Northeast China.
