The 4th China (Changchun) Straw Industry Expo was opened at the Changchun Agri-Expo Park on September 8, 2019.  

The theme of the exposition is “creating a new era of straw industry and join hands for the dream of green industry”, which is held in line with the principle “intelligent innovation, industrial integration, coordination and cooperation, cross-border cooperation for win-win results” to showcase the latest achievements in the development of domestic straw industry. The exhibition area totals 50,000 square meters for hundreds of enterprises from more than 20 provinces and cities of Jilin, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Anhui and Gansu.  

In addition to the latest achievements of scientific research institutes and higher learning institutions, the event is also highlighted by a comprehensive exhibition of dozens of kinds of straw-based products, including fertilizer, feed, base material, charcoal making, bio-fiber extraction, packaging lining, degradable new material, environmentally friendly material, fuel and stove, collection and transportation equipment and handicraft.  

During the exposition, other activities including the Founding Ceremony for the Straw Industry Branch of the National Confederation of Chambers of Agriculture, the 6th Summit for the Development of Straw Industry of China & Singing Ceremony of Key Projects, the 3rd Conference for the Promotion of Straw Industry of China & Summit on Investment and Financing, and the 4th Technology Summit for Straw Industry of China & Seminar on the New Techniques, Technologies, Equipment, Products and Modes will also be organized.
