Liu Xin , Acting Mayor of Changchun City, met with the delegation of Ingolstadt, Germany, on December 1, 2018.  

Led by the mayor of Ingolstadt, the delegation came mainly to inspect the investment environment and discuss the possibility of strengthening cooperative relations with Changchun City. 

During the meeting, Liu Xin, on behalf of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Changchun City, extended his welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the city’s basic facts, adding, “Your city is home to the famous automobile brand Audi, and Changchun is known as the city of automobiles of China. The two sides enjoy industrial similarities, and huge space for cooperation. We hope that on the basis of the existing cooperative relations we can further deepen exchanges in medical, cultural and educational fields, and thus expand a broader space for cooperation. At the same time, we welcome German entrepreneurs to invest in Changchun. Changchun’s geographical position is superior, with strong industrial bases and sufficient intellectual and scientific research resources which will surely make the cooperation between the two sides achieve tangible results.” 

“Your city’s rapid economic development and modernized construction are very impressive. In the future, Ingolstadt will deepen its cooperation and exchanges and cooperation with China, and look forward to strengthening cooperation with your city in such aspects as mobile travel and intellectualization for win-win results,” said the head of the delegation. 

Among the officials present at the meeting also included Vice Mayor Jia Lina and Wang Haiyin.
