On December 17, the opening ceremony of the 28th Changchun Ice and Snow Festival was held at Changchun New World of Ice and Snow. Hu Yuting, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Governor of Jilin Province, attended the ceremony and toured the park. Zhang Enhui, Cao Lubao, Jin Yuhui, Wang Zhihou, Wang Zilian, Gao Zhiguo, and Liu Wei also participated in the event and jointly launched this year's Ice and Snow Festival.

In the new snow season, the park has undergone innovative upgrades in various aspects, including ice and snow landscapes, entertainment facilities, performances, and dining services. It is bustling with visitors, who are enjoying ice sculptures, snow activities, and leisure entertainment with great enthusiasm and excitement. While walking through the park, Hu Yuting observed the development of the ice and snow tourism industry and interacted with tourists. He emphasized the need to further improve the park's functions, optimize immersive and experiential product offerings, and diversify business operations and high-quality supporting services. He also stressed the importance of elevating the aesthetic level of the park and the overall experience of consumers by constantly innovating consumer scenarios and tapping into consumption potential. Besides, he urged increased promotional efforts to attract more visitors and create business opportunities, which would help enhance the competitiveness of ice and snow tourism products, expand the brand value and market influence of Changchun New World of Ice and Snow, and make this snow season even "hotter". Furthermore, he asked relevant departments to strengthen market regulation, maintain market order, optimize the development environment, and enhance service guarantees to improve the park's reputation. To coordinate development and safety and ensure that tourists can enjoy themselves and feel at ease, efforts should be made to intensify the inspection and rectification of safety hazards in production and improve emergency response capabilities during peak periods in the park.

It is learned that after more than two decades of development, the Changchun Ice and Snow Festival has become a well-known ice and snow event. This year's festival, which lasts for one month, is themed "Spring City in Northern China, Snowy World of Entertainment" and will feature special performances, food markets, interactive activities, electronic music parties, large-scale fireworks displays, and a series of ice and snow sports and experience events. With a diverse array of product offerings, the festival will continuously unleash the economic potential and vibrant energy of ice and snow resources.
