Jilin Province's First ÖSD Exam Center Established in Changchun
On the afternoon of June 23, the launch ceremony of the ÖSD Exam Center in Changchun was successfully held at the Changchun-Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Exhibition Center. At the invitation of the event organizer, representatives of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office attended the ceremony. Also present were officials from Deutsche Internationale Schule Changchun (Changchun German International School), major universities and key high schools in Jilin Province, German-invested enterprises based in Changchun, as well as foreign experts and business representatives.

The ÖSD is a state-approved German language proficiency testing system, launched in 1994 under the auspices of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education. It now operates more than 300 exam centers worldwide. The certificate complies with international language assessment standards and is widely recognized across all German-speaking regions. It can be used as an authoritative and practical certificate for overseas study, job applications, visa process, and the dual system of vocational education.

For a long time, Jilin Province lacked a standardized official German exam center, forcing local learners to travel to other provinces for exams. This significantly hindered the development of local German language talent and the province's exchanges and cooperation with Germany. The establishment of the ÖSD exam center in Changchun effectively fills the gap in standardized German language testing in Jilin Province and substantially reduces the exam costs for local candidates.

This exam center will create a cooperation platform among government, industry, and academia, establish a long-term cooperation mechanism, and build a full chain service system encompassing "German language learning, testing, dual-system vocational training, and employment with German companies." This will provide solid support for Changchun's economic and trade exchanges with Germany, investment attraction, and the development of foreign-related talent, while steadily advancing deeper people-to-people exchanges and industrial cooperation between China and Germany.
