Changchun Longjia International Airport Adds Multiple New Destinations
On March 29, Changchun Longjia International Airport officially launched its flight schedule for the 2026 summer aviation season, which runs through October 24, spanning a total of 210 days. In this seasonal transition, the airport has responded to the demand for passenger travel, cultural tourism, and economic and trade exchanges by further optimizing its route network. With 2,750 scheduled flights per week, averaging 392 daily flights, the airport has achieved a year-on-year increase of 2.5%, ranking ninth in terms of planned flight growth among China's airports with an annual throughput of over ten million passengers. This establishes a more efficient and convenient air corridor for travelers and regional economic activity.
For the 2026 summer aviation season, 32 airlines will operate at Changchun Longjia International Airport, further refining its route network. The airport plans to operate 126 routes serving 79 destinations. On the international front, flights to Seoul, a key Northeast Asian destination, have increased to 23 weekly flights, while services to Southeast Asian cities such as Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur continue to operate steadily. These enhancements provide robust capacity for cross-border business, tourism, family visits, and study abroad travel, further facilitating economic, cultural, and people-to-people exchanges in Northeast Asia and supporting Jilin Province in building a new highland of openness.
Taking the summer schedule transition as an opportunity, Changchun Longjia International Airport will continue to deepen its focus on the aviation market. Leveraging its upgraded route network, the airport will further integrate aviation with cultural tourism, enhance operational capacity and service quality, and fully develop its role as a radiating aviation hub. This will contribute to the high-quality economic and social development of Changchun and Northeast China, as well as the growth of the region's cultural tourism industry, while offering passengers a superior, more efficient, and more diverse air travel experience.
