On the morning of December 12, 2024, Deputy Director Ou Shuo of Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office accompanied Austrian artist Ingrid Anna Grillmayr on a visit to the Jilin Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles (JLPFLAC), at which Ingrid presented her painting Adonis Amurensis to the federation. The leaders of JLPFLAC accompanied Ingrid to visit the Jilin Painting and Calligraphy Institute and the Home of Jilin Artists and held a symposium and a donation ceremony.

JLPFLAC placed great importance on this cultural exchange event and made meticulous arrangements to host Ingrid and her delegation. Zhao Ming, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of JLPFLAC, delivered remarks at the symposium. He expressed gratitude to Ingrid for her generous donation and Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office for their skillful coordination in building a bridge for literary and artistic cooperation between Jilin and Austria. He highly praised Ingrid's painting for its rich composition, joyful color, and pure artistic essence and highlighted how Adonis amurensis, with its noble character and resilience against early spring's cold, mirrors the indomitable, enterprising, and hardworking spirit of the Jilin people, while resonating with Changchun's elegant, open, and virtuous style. He emphasized that this event marked a new chapter in cultural cooperation between Jilin and Austria and a new beginning in extending the beauty of Adonis amurensis.
Ingrid thanked JLPFLAC and Changchun Municipal Foreign Affairs Office. She remarked that this visit allowed her to witness the extraordinary talent of Jilin artists and the extensive and profound Chinese art. She shared her plan to invite several Jilin artists to Austria and other European regions next year to showcase Chinese artworks on the international stage.

Ou Shuo extended his appreciation to JLPFLAC for their thoughtful arrangements and warm reception. He expressed confidence in the cultural exchange and mutual learning between Jilin and Austria, as well as other European regions. He hoped Ingrid would continue serving as a cultural ambassador between China and Austria, helping promote Chinese culture and art abroad and tell China's story to the world.
