On March 9, Zhang Zhijun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, met with Markus Duesmann, Chairman of the Board of Management of Audi and his delegation. Qiu Xiandong, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of FAW Group, Ralf Brandst?tter, Chairman and CEO of Volkswagen China, and Wen Zeyue, President of Audi China, were present at the meeting.

Zhang Zhijun said that Jilin, as a big province of China's automobile industry, has a long history of cooperation with Audi. Over the past 20 years, we have worked hand in hand to create an excellent reputation of Audi brand. Audi FAW new energy vehicle project is a major cooperation project between FAW and Audi, and also a major project for the future development of automobile industry in Jilin Province and Changchun City. It is hoped that both parties will make every effort to speed up the construction and put into production of the project, and actively introduce advanced technologies and high-quality models to jointly build the whole industrial chain of new energy vehicles, so as to help Jilin's automobile industry cluster "step up" and build a world-class Changchun International Automobile City.

Markus Duesmann thanked Jilin Province and Changchun City for their long-term support to Audi, and said that he would further deepen cooperation with FAW, fully promote the construction of Audi PPE project, and continue to write a new chapter of cooperation to create a better future.
