Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. visited Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone for investigation and research

On February 23, Liu Peng, Deputy General Manager of Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., together with other 5 fellows, visited Changchun Foreign Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone for investigation and research. Both sides had an in-depth discussion and exchange on the manufacturing of new energy vehicles, R&D and application of hydrogen cells, and construction of hydrogen fueling stations, etc.

During the discussion, Zhang Zhongcheng, Vice Chairman of the Managing Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone (Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone), gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation, industrial layout and policy support of the Demonstration Zone.

Afterwards, Xu Yong, Secretary of the Party Work Committee of the China-ROK Demonstration Zone (Changchun Opening-up and Cooperation Demonstration Zone), introduced in detail the advantages of international cooperation carried out by the Demonstration Zone and the series of policies on taxation, trade and finance that the Demonstration Zone actively strives for. He pointed out that Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., as a top enterprise with leading technology, is a valuable partner of the Demonstration Zone. He also hoped that the Company can seize the development opportunity of the hydrogen energy industry and promote the in-depth cooperation with the Demonstration Zone to empower the construction of "Northern Hydrogen Valley" Demonstration Zone and the development of hydrogen energy industry.

Liu Peng said that the Company will fully seize the strategic and policy opportunities of the hydrogen energy development for the Demonstration Zone, fully play its advantages in industry, technology and channels and actively promote the cooperation, so as to contribute its power to the development of hydrogen energy industry for the Demonstration Zone.

The delegation also visited the Photonics Information Industrial Park, the hydrogen fuelling station of the "Renewable Energy + PEM Hydrogen Production + Hydrogen Fuelling" Integrated Innovation Demonstration Project, and the plots for new energy vehicles.

Relevant departments such as the Business Affairs Bureau and Bureau of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Demonstration Zone also participated in this event.
