The publicity and promotional activity of “Universities of France 2021-Changchun” was held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun City, on April 18, 2021. The event was sponsored by the Consulate General of France in Shenyang to which the foreign affairs offices at the provincial and municipal levels attached great importance and sent representatives. Ms. Anne Rulliat, Consul General of France in Shenyang, attended the welcome dinner and delivered a speech.  

The event is meant to promote the higher education of France and strengthen the cooperation among universities between China and France. A total of 21 French universities including University of Paris, Audencia Business School and the and Paris Institute of Political Studies, and some 400 people including student representatives and parents from such universities as Changchun Normal University, Northeast Normal University and Jilin International Studies joined the promotional activity. 

During the activity, the representatives of Changchun Foreign Affairs Office (CCFAO) had talks with Ms. Anne Rulliat. The two sides discussed the possibility of promoting more people-to-people, cultural and educational cooperation between Changchun and France. Insiders say such activity has demonstrated the maturity of and the remarkable achievements in China-France cooperation in culture and education. In the future, CCFAO will further strengthen cooperation with France in culture and education, and thus help promote the people-to-people and cultural exchanges between the two countries to up to a new level.
