As one of the latest projects introduced to Changchun Hi-tech Industry Development Zone, Changchun Yitian Silicon Valley New Town signed a cooperation agreement on the settlement of Changchun Aohua Technology Consulting Co., Ltd., headquarters of Downer in China, in the new town of Yitian Silicon Valley with Downer EDI Limited (Downer), one of the world’s top 500 enterprises, on November 20, 2019.  

Downer is the fourth largest listed enterprise in Australia. It is a first-class equipment manufacturer around the world. Since 2006, Downer has been committed to cooperating with CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. on the double decker project in Sydney and the metro project in Melbourne, Australia, with a total investment of RMB50 billion. The partnership has facilitated the rapid development of rail transit equipment manufacturing industry of Changchun City. 

After getting settled, Aohua Technology Consulting Co., Ltd. will be mainly engaged in the maintenance and procurement of spare parts for the double decker project in Sydney as well as in the highway infrastructure and procurement of machineries for the mining and textile sectors of Australia in China. In the meantime, Downer will cooperate with Changchun Hi-tech Industry Development Zone in power, water energy, engineering design, etc.
