A total of 26 key projects invested with RMB50.3 billion were started in Changchun New Area on September 10, 2021. 

This year, Changchun New Area plans to implement 254 projects to be invested with RMB217.5 billion in total, including such major projects as Changchun Intelligent Optical Valley, Fine Chemical New Materials Demonstration Park and Haironghui Innovation and Entrepreneurship Town that have been being promoted rapidly. Among the total 26, industrial projects account for 75%. More than 50% of them is invested with more than RMB1 billion each, covering Zhuoyi Biological Vaccine Base, Liandong U Valley Changchun Emerging Industry Sci-Tech Park, Beihu Aviation Sci-Tech Expo Park featuring high investments, technology contents and good market prospects that will surely provide strong support for the city to increase effective investments, strengthen industrial clusters and expand economic aggregate.
