To ensure the quality of supervision and service for the 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo, Changchun Customs formulated and issued the Notice of Customs Clearance for Entry Exhibits of the 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo and the List of Prohibitions and Restrictions as an effort to provide easy customs clearance guidelines for exhibitors. In the meantime, ten convenient measures including on-site service, unified tax guarantee and simplified supervision procedures will be adopted to ensure rapid customs clearance. 

For the forthcoming Northeast Asia Expo, Changchun Customs has set up special channels and service counters for entry exhibits at major ports, giving priority to customs formalities such as declaration, inspection, sampling and testing. In addition, such services as “port plus on-site rapid inspection and clearance” and 24-hour reservation for customs clearance, customs clearance reservation during festivals and holidays will be provided. During the exposition, customs officers will be on duty for supervision and consultation at the comprehensive service area of Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center. 

To facilitate the exhibition of food products and cosmetics, entry procedures will be streamlined in line with which pre-packaged food products with unified logos to be distributed for tasting can be exempted from Chinese labels but such information as product name, quality guarantee period, taboo, directions for eating (use) shall be provided in Chinese beside the exhibits. The cosmetics not for sale shall be provided with exhibition certificates issued by the sponsor (administration) before allowed for entry exempted from inspection. 

Changchun Customs is now working ahead of schedule with consultation and pre-examination services for exhibitors or agents who can provide their exhibit lists. The exhibitors will be informed in advance of entry prohibitions to avoid unnecessary losses. For those not allowed for entry, exhibition conditions and requirements for will be made clear at the earliest possible time for exhibitors or agents to make early preparations. 

For this Northeast Asia Expo, Changchun Customs allows unified tax guarantee, which in turn can make exhibitors or their agents free from submitting tax guarantees one after another to the customs.
