President Xi has pointed out that the circulation system plays a fundamental role in the national economy, and that building a modern circulation system must be established as a key strategic task in constructing the new development paradigm. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, Changchun has focused on smart, green, and digital development, working vigorously to advance the development of logistics hubs in the Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area. A comprehensive modern logistics system spanning warehousing, transportation, and rail freight coordination has been established, helping "Made in Jilin" products reach global markets at lower cost and with greater efficiency.

The Cold Chain Logistics Industrial Park in the ChinaKorea (Changchun) International Cooperation Demonstration Zone is currently the largest and most highly automated specialized cold-chain facility in Jilin Province. With a monthly throughput of over 5,000 tonnes of frozen food and more than 500,000 cartons of frozen beverages, the park covers nearly 1,000 product categories while requiring only one-fifth of the workforce of a conventional cold storage warehouse. Equipped with an advanced intelligent warehouse management system, the park allows staff to carry out the entire workflow, including goods data entry, automated conveying, and frozen storage, via handheld terminals without ever needing to enter sub-zero environments.

The park is now actively building a Northeast Asian warehousing, distribution and processing center for fresh corn trading, alongside a storage center for transporting southern fruits to northern markets, so as to further strengthen the region's capacity to ensure stable supplies of daily necessities. Changchun is currently rolling out multiple modern logistics facilities across various locations, while continuing to expand its outward-bound logistics corridors, extending the city's logistics network from the local area to broader overseas markets. The ocean-rail intermodal service launched this year in the Changchun New Area has handled 163 trains and 5,160 TEUs in just six months. Through this "morning dispatch, afternoon arrival" golden route, local specialty products such as agricultural goods and chemical fibers are shipped at low cost to Japanese, South Korean, and Southeast Asian markets, effectively solving the "last-mile" challenge for the Changchun New Area to access seaports. The park has also deepened cooperation with Russian Railways and China Railway, while coordinating with customs, railway and other authorities to shorten the total logistics time on the ChangchunDalian route to just 8 hours. It has also become a first-tier agent for China-Europe freight train services.

At the Smart Logistics Park of China Logistics Group Automobile Supply Chain Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone, finished vehicles are neatly arrayed, each fitted with a dedicated RFID tag that acts as an "electronic ID," enabling one-click retrieval of its full lifecycle tracking data. On the park's dedicated routes, L3 autonomous heavy-duty trucks operate on a regular basis, capable of independently performing steering, driving and other maneuvers, with cumulative safe mileage exceeding 20,000 kilometers.

The park's rail dispatch center is supported by 33.7 kilometers of dedicated railway lines, capable of simultaneously handling domestic finished-vehicle unit trains and China-Europe freight trains for auto parts. All models of Hongqi and FAW-Volkswagen are dispatched from here to destinations across China and exported to European markets, with total vehicle shipments reaching 3.139 million units over the past five years.

A growing number of these modern smart logistics hubs are smoothing the flow of goods between urban and rural areas, enriching the supply of daily necessities, and serving as powerful engines for regional economic growth. As more smart, green and internationally oriented logistics projects are commissioned, an efficient, well-connected, multi-dimensional modern circulation system is rapidly taking shape in Changchun, laying a solid logistics foundation for high-quality economic development and empowering industrial upgrading.
