Currently, the development of the Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area has entered a new stage of full implementation from strategic planning. Recently, Changchun Urban Development & Investment Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CCDG") joined hands with Jilin Songfa Group to open a new chapter for eco-friendly business cooperation in the water source areas of Changchun and Jilin cities. Focusing on ecological water purification fishery, the two sides established a new pattern of cross-regional cooperation featuring ecological priority, resource sharing, industrial synergy, and a people-centered approach. This initiative has injected strong green momentum into high-quality development of the two regions.

Changchun's Xinlicheng Reservoir and Shitoukoumen Reservoir are closely connected to the Songhua Lake water system in Jilin. The Songhua Lake serves as a core ecological barrier and a vital drinking water source in the northeastern section of the Songhua River Basin. Its water quality and ecological well-being are crucial to the holistic, sustainable development of the region.

This cooperation stands as a concrete practice of the two companies in advancing the development of the Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area. By fully leveraging the resource endowments, technological strengths, and geographical location advantages of Changchun and Jilin cities, the two sides have broken down regional barriers and innovatively built a closed-loop development model featuring "water source protection, ecological aquaculture, and industrial empowerment". This model has not only consolidated the ecological security defense for urban water sources, but also fostered a standardized, high-quality industrial cluster for eco-friendly fisheries, truly achieving a win-win outcome for both ecological and economic benefits.

Strong Industrial Synergy to Shape a New Pattern of Regional Development

In recent years, the cooperation between Changchun and Jilin has been continuously deepened and expanded across the board, covering industrial coordination and people's livelihood, with its value being fully unleashed. Building on the strength in large-scale aquaculture, CCDG takes this cooperation as an opportunity to further enhance its capacity for the stable supply of high-quality aquatic products. This not only effectively enriches the "food basket" supply for Changchun and surrounding regions but also establishes a safe, reliable, and efficient food supply system, allowing residents to directly share in the outcomes of this endeavor.

In addition, through in-depth collaboration in fishery technology R&D, industrial chain integration, and market channel sharing, the two sides are accelerating their pace to unlock the potential for regional industrial linkage, with a new pattern of industrial synergy taking shape featured by R&D in Changchun, production in Jilin, and sales across the country.

Industrial Chain Extension to Boost Upgrading and Cultivate New Growth Drivers for Aquaculture

The cooperation in eco-friendly fisheries marks an important starting point for the industrial expansion of both sides. Moving forward, the two cities will gradually expand their cooperation into diverse fields including aquatic product processing, brand marketing, and eco-tourism, and drive the development of a complete industrial closed-loop system covering the entire chain from aquaculture to consumption. Through continuous technological innovation and iterative optimization of management models, they will strive to boost the added value of aquatic products, drive the transformation and upgrading of regional fisheries, and set a model for the development of green ecological industries across the province.

Looking ahead, CCDG will continue to tap into the ecological water purification fishery sector, deepen the coordination in cross-regional ecological aquaculture, and constantly improve the "Ecology + Industry + Livelihood" development chain to empower the upgrading of urban agriculture with innovative practices.
