The 15th Changchun China Film Festival, organized by the China Media Group and the Jilin provincial government, will be held in Changchun from September 5 to 10 by the Changchun municipal government.

With the theme of "new era, new cradle and new strength", the 15th Changchun Film Festival is to set five main activities, including opening ceremony, Golden Deer awards ceremony, film forum, film panorama and saluting cradle. According to the current and foreseeable epidemic prevention and control needs, multiple prevention and control measures will be taken to ensure the safe and orderly progress of all activities during the festival period.

The opening ceremony of the 15th Changchun Film Festival with an outdoor stage will be organized, planned and broadcast by the China Media Group via 5G livestreaming, VR shooting, video link and other technological means. In the meantime, the film festival will hold the Film and TV Industry Integration Summit Forum under the background of global integration and carry out professional discussion, and will simultaneously launch offline and online film panorama activities.

It is worth mentioning that this year’s film festival will also carry out a series of activities such as "Changchun Films’ Night" symphony concert, classic old film review and new film release conference, so as to pass down the revolutionary traditions of Changchun films, to wake the original aspiration of filmmakers and to pool strength for China to become a strong country with great films.
