6 more Jilin-1 satellites successfully launched

At 11:14 am on January 15, 6 satellites, including Jilin-1 MF02A07 (Huashui-1), Jilin-1 Hongwai A07-08 (Wofuman and Haihe-1), Jilin-1 GF03D34 and Jilin-1 MF02A03-04, were sent into planned orbit by a Long March-2D rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The satellites launched this time can provide abundant remote sensing data and services for agriculture, forestry, meteorology, marine, resources, environmental protection, urban construction and scientific experiments. It was the 24th launch of the Jilin-1 satellite project.

Jilin-1 MF02A07 satellite is a small and light high-resolution multi-mode optical remote sensing satellite for smart water conservancy jointly developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co and North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power. It is the first inland water remote sensing satellite in China and the first optical satellite in the Huashui constellation. The satellite can obtain sub-meter-level high-resolution remote sensing images with multi-mode imaging capabilities. It can provide efficient intelligent sensing means for the survey of inland surface water resources, the fine management of surface water, the monitoring and assessment of water ecology, the protection of water environments and the emergency response to floods.

Jilin-1 Hongwai A07-08 satellites are new-type observation satellites jointly developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co and Tianjin Yunyao Aerospace Technology Co. Based on the development of Tianjin University-1 satellite, this series of satellites is designed for batch production. The payload of the satellites consists of long-wave infrared cameras, which can capture images of the atmosphere, ocean and land. The satellites have features of short development cycle, high integration, light weight, small size and high cost performance.

Jilin-1 GF03D34 satellite is a small and light high-resolution optical remote sensing satellite independently developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co. The satellite adopts the concept of integrated design of payload platform, with features of low cost, low power consumption, light weight and high index.

Jilin-1 MF02A03, 04 and 07 satellites are flexible satellite-carrying platforms. This series of satellites can perform flexible stand-alone conversion according to the integration requirements of different loads, with features of high integration, strong carrying capacity, light weight and low cost.
