In January of 2022, FAW produced 290,371 vehicles and sold 311,508. 

In terms of the records for independent brands, FAW produced 37,758 for Hongqi, a year-on-year increase of 60.9%, and sold 42,158, up 29.6% year on year, a record high in the history. The performance of such models as HS5, H7, HS7 and E-HS9 was brilliant. FAW produced more than 26,000 Jiefang trucks and sold more than 28,000. For Besturn, 3,500 were produced and 5,466 sold. 

For the brands of joint ventures, 222,537 cars were produced and 234,718 sold. Among them, FAW Volkswagen produced 181,573 and sold 182,977. FAW Toyota produced 40,964 and sold 51,741.
